Snowden denkt dat hij beter in Poetins Rusland kan blijven, dan  in een Amerikaanse cel te belanden.

Zijn er in de geschiedenis meer van dit soort 'gevallen' te vinden? Ja, en je mag stellen dat Russische spionage - zeker onder leiding van oud KGB-directeur Vladimir Putin - duurzaam is.

Snowden is not just a traitor or leaker, but also a black propaganda agent, handled by the Russians. Purpose is to weaken the international relationships amongst Western Countries. And it worked.
Snowden was with the CIA and the NSA and grew disillusioned with PRISM activities by the USA. According to Snowden, his "sole motive" for leaking the documents was "to inform the public as to that which is done in their name and that which is done against them." Or was he recruted on Hawai?

No return, no amnesty

During the period that Snowden was hiding in Russia, he could have passed information to the KGB, although (who believes him) denied by President Putin, ex-chief of KGB. However, the information National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden has revealed so far is believed to be just a fraction of what he has. In fact, he has so much, some think it is worth giving him amnesty to get it back.
